Q: How do I place an AD?
Go to the Place an Ad page and fill out the listing form with all relative information. Once the form is complete and you are satisfied with your ad, click the preview button. If all is ok, click the submit button to place your ad in our database. You will then be presented with payment options.

Q: How much does it cost to Place a Property Listing?

There are three price options. All options include 6 photos:
1. One Month at a cost of $69.95
2. Two Months at a cost of $119.95
3. Listed until Sold at a cost of $169.95

Q: How do I get my home listed as a Feature Property on the home page?

All properties listed with photos will randomly appear as a feature properties on our home page, during the term of their listing.

Q: How do I get my home listed as a Show Case home?

All Homes listed on Private For Sale.com and our Partner Sites this month will receive premium placement in search results and be featured as a show case homes, during the entire term of their listing.

Q: When do I get to add my photos?

Once you have submitted your listing and made payment you will be able to upload photos under the Edit / Cancel ad link on the home page.

Q: How do I upload my Photos?

Once you have submitted your listing and made payment, just go to the Edit / Cancel section. There you will find the Upload Photos to your Ad section. All you have to do is enter your Ad # and the Password you created. The instructions are very easy to follow and it will take about 5 minutes to add your photos.

We recommend that you prepare your images before you begin to upload them. They can be in either .GIF or .JPG format, no wider than 288 pixels, and no higher than 288 pixels. The maximum file size is 30 kilobytes. For best results, use a width of 288 with a height of 216.If you save them as compressed JPG files, at 55% or less, (or level 4 or 5 Progressive jpg files), the files will still be under 30 kilobytes and will look great!

Q: Can I change the photos once they are uploaded?

Yes. You may change photos as often as you like as long as you are uploading them yourself using the photo upload feature. If we scan them for you and place them they remain the same until you cancel.

Q: What size photos are accepted and in what format?

We accept GIF and JPEG images. The suffix must be either .GIF or .gif for GIF images and .JPG or .jpg for JPEG images.Photos can be up to 288 pixels wide (4 inches at 72 pixels per inch) and 288 pixels high. Each image can be no more than 30 kilobytes.

Q: If I don't want to upload my photos myself, what options do I have?

Once your ad is placed you will be issued a listing # which you will receive by email. Simple send us the pictures with your listing # on the back and we will scan and upload your photos for you.

Q: If I mail my photos when will they appear?

All photos are normally scanned and uploaded to your listing the same day we receive them.

Q: I lost my account information, what should I do?

Don't worry, Go to the Edit / Cancel page. At the bottom of the page there is a Remind Me of my Password form where you place your email address. Click the Remind Me button and check your email in a few minutes. Your account information will be sent to you via email. You must use the email address that is in your ad.

Q: How do I cancel my ad?

There is no need to contact us. You may cancel your listing at any time and the billing instantly stops. If you are on the monthly program, to cancel your ad and billing click Edit / Cancel.

Q: My Feature sheet won't print all on one page, am I doing something wrong?

The Feature Sheet is designed to print well for most printers. It can take some adjustments to get the page to print properly.

Suggestion: Under your browser window go to file menu, scroll down to page setup, adjust your page as necessary. You may want to print on legal size paper 8 1/2 x 14 and reduce the left and right margins.

Q. What is the purpose of the Free Feature Sheet?

The Free Feature Sheet allows home sellers to create and print out a flyer or handout to be given to potential buyers. After creating and printing, home sellers have the option to add their personal Feature Sheet to our online data base and upload 6 photos for a fee.

Q. Why are agents featured on your site?

Agents have found it's beneficial to advertise to our targeted traffic of buyers and sellers in a non confrontational manner. As a result of their advertising dollars we are able to offer our services to you, the private home seller, at a lower then expected rate

Q: Why do you ask if an agent is involved on the Place an Ad page?

Some home sellers may elect to list their home with an agent during their ad subscription with us. By allowing them to use the agents name as a contact this allows them the flexibility to continue to advertise with us, maximizing the results.

Many Real Estate agents have come to use our service as a professional sales tool in marketing and for the production of a professional feature sheet in their normal course of business.
